Who Can Stay
The Landstuhl Fisher House welcomes qualifying military patients and their families who are receiving medical treatment at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC). As the only Fisher House located outside the continental United States, we also serve coalition families from allied nations — since 2009, more than 173 families from 27 different countries have stayed with us.
Lodging is provided at no charge to eligible guests. A referral form is available on our website for prospective guests to begin the process.
What to Expect During Your Stay
We operate two comfortable houses, both within walking distance of the hospital. Each home offers private guest rooms and shared common areas — including a full kitchen, dining room, and living room — so you can focus on what matters most: healing and family.
Our staff and volunteers work to create a warm, supportive environment. While you're here, you'll find a community of people who understand the challenges military families face during medical treatment.
Key Details
Hours & Check-In
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0830–1700. The houses are closed on weekends and US holidays. Check-in takes place at Landstuhl Fisher House II during duty hours, or through the hospital AOD after hours at DSN 590-4100 (civilian 06371 9464 4100).
Reservations
Please note that no reservations are taken due to the uncertainty of room availability. We do our best to accommodate every qualifying family as space allows.
